What a night!
This has been one of the greatest experiences of our very lives. Performing in front of humongous crowd has been superb. Or should I say a dream come true, yeah! Even thou we did not won the grand prize; it still gives us the motivation to continue improve our talents in terms of music.
Given that, Josh being a BA (Business Analyst) the man of the year, he can work more than 8 hours straight without moving on his workstation…(yeah! Employee of the Year 2008) but given that I can say he’s the acoustic specialist he is the lead guitarist of the group… Allen a PA (Programmer/Analyst) the clown of the group, he can crack unbelievable jokes just to lessen any melancholy on your mind…this guy has lots of passion to almost everything (work,business & life) and he is the bassist of the group… Keo a PA (Programmer/Analyst) the richie rich of the group, wanna know why because he is a GONZALEZ. I will just leave you guys on his family name and he is the percussionist of the group. As for me, I am the vocalist of the group. I will just let my bandmates describe what I have. - NEIL
Big night! Big party!
The biggest I’ve ever attended…Big time to mga tsong! Had a lot of fun…met a lot of new people…had a great time on stage. The band played and we we’re good!...though not good enough to win…but GOOD nonetheless! If only they let us play our original piece…..hmmmm…(dammit!)…that’s another story. Anyway, backstage was where we stayed the whole time….less people, more food and drinks..hehehe. Plus we got front row seats (figuratively speaking)! Im impressed with Neil, Josh and Allen…who would have thunk that these guys could rip it up on stage as a great band! Neil, great guitarist and vocals…no wonder he has fans….Josh, the lead..the man! The next big thing to come after Slash!...and Allen, the base that can play like a pro, in minutes! ….(Mental Note: I’ve got to learn how to play real drums)….these guys can surely make you feel like in a party. As early as now, we all are thinking of the next time we get together for another show…when? Who knows…why? Who cares!...all we know is that we just want to play again…can’t wait…. -KEO
@Backstage “taena, pano kapag nagkamali ako, syet pano pag sumablay, badtrip, kinakabahan ako… yosi pa nga!”. 6 sticks before our performance (in the span of 15 Minutes!), What can I do? I was really terrified! The last time I performed was in High School, let’s say it was not the most memorable part of my life, better yet I would really like to forget about. Then the host called us… the usual “Syet bahala na si batman, support na lng si Robin” mentality took control, momentarily subsiding the tense feeling and throwing the feel of tripping of stage before we even start. I said to myself “lets get on with it, I don’t want to prolong the agony!”.
We started out with the intro from Neil, demn this guy is so good, for a moment it took away the feeling of performing bad on stage away… Then KEO, JOSH and backed him up. The feeling of “Darn we’re doing good”, suddenly came into me, almost made me loose concentration and trip over a few notes (buti na lng hindi). All I can say, it was a great experience for us, making us to want more. –ALLEN
Tunay ngang “Kay ganda ng ating musika!”… Binibing seksi! Binibirocha! Patay tayo jan! yan ang tugtugan ng bandang tinaguriang HENHEESEEKEETEEHAYHEE!!! Ang pinakamagaling na banda sa balat ng kalabaw! Kaya lang, hindi yung mga kanta na yan ang tinugtog namin sa Talent contest sa Christmas party ng K-Force na tinaguriang, “K-force got talent!” Bakit? E kasi bata!!! Mahabang storya yan kaya wag niyo na lang alamin at baka sabihin niyo bobo pa kami…
Kami po ang bandang nagpraktis ng pagkaytagal-tagal para sa Christmas party ng K-force. AT opo NANALO KAMI!!! 4th place!!!! Out of 4 contestants!!!.Oh yeah. PERO, meron pa rin kaming pera.. yun yun e. pang-turon.
Pero matapos ang lahat, naisip ko, maganda pa rin ang nangyari. Bakit? Kasi kaming apat na napakagwapong lalaki ay nagsumikap, nagpakitang gilas, nagwagi (ng pera), at higit sa lahat nagsaya!!
Si neil, na parang si diether ocampo raw (sabi ni allen…uuuuy) ay pinalaglag ang mga panti ng mga babae sa NBC tent. Kaya walang pumalakpak para satin pare, kasi nalaglag yung mga panty nila e.. pati yung mga brip ng mga lalake… kasi tahimik din sila e..
Si Keo naman, DON QUIXOTE!! Iresearch niyo na lang kung sino si Don Quixote.. di ko rin alam e.. basta ito nagdala ng English-an sa banda.. . Husay mag-kahon! He’s the man! With da big haus and big pool!! Oh yeah!!! Cribs beybeh!!!
At si pareng allen. Taob si Gary Granada d2. wala kayong masasabi sa taong to kasi lahat sinabi na niya. Akalain niyo, nagbass lang ng konti parang si Willie Garte na! Wat da umf.
Umuwi kaming talo pero pakiramdam namin para kaming mga hari. (kasi kasama rin namin si Don Quixote syempre)… pero siryoso, ika nga ng Itchy worms, “Feeling ko ang yaman-yaman ko!” kasi meron kaming munting alaala na 50 years from now (kung buhay pa tayo).. pag binalikan ay siguradong magdudulot ng katakut-takot na katatawanan at kaligayahan.. oh yeah.
